House Rules

We want all of our guests to be respectful of neighbours so please keep noise to a minimum while inside and outside on the property. Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. Any disturbance triggering a visit by police will require guests to forfeit the remainder of their stay and immediately vacate the property without any refund.
No food or drink (except water) in the bedrooms. Guests will compensate host for any food/drink stains in the bedroom.
No Unregistered or unrequested guests are allowed on the premises. A violation of this Airbnb house rule will result in the immediate removal of all guests (and any visitors) from the property without a refund. If there is a disturbance with more than the occupants specified in the listing, a $25 per guest fine will be charged.
Please take care when you are moving furniture in the living room (for sleeping arrangements), as to not damage the furniture or the floors. Please do not rearrange other furniture.
No Smoking or vaping on the premises. A $200/per day penalty will be incurred if any sign or smell of cigarette or marijuana is encountered after the guest checks out.
Please check out on time. If you, the guest, decide not to follow any of our Airbnb house rules, and this triggers a refund or discount to our next guests, you will be responsible for any loss of income to the host.
Any early check-in or late check-outs requests need prior approval by the host. Use the Airbnb app's message system to request the change. If our schedule permits, we may allow an early check-in/late check-out for a fee of $20 per each extended hour. This amount will be charged to your Airbnb bill.
Any damage made to property or furnishings which exceeds the deposit amount will be billed to the guest and will be reported to Airbnb.
All items in the suite have been counted and any item removed from the premises will be charged to the guest.
Please be respectful of bed sheets and towels. Make-up/foundations, face medications/creams, and tanning products will stain our linens and towels. Please avoid using regular hand/bath towels with all skin products. Please use the black make-up towels we have provided. Unsalvageable linens/bath towels will be charged to the guest - $20 per damaged towel/sheet.
At the sole discretion of the host, an additional cleaning fee of $90 can be charged if additional clean up is required that goes above and beyond the standard cleaning.

The space
This 1000 sq ft. apartment suite provides plenty of character but with modern amenities. The long gated, covered patio that stretches the length of the building is a favourite spot on warm days and evenings and to enjoy a meal or conversation.

An open-concept kitchen, dining room and living room creates a welcoming spot to gather, entertain and relax. We don't allow loud parties but as a consummate host and a former restaurateur, I have provided everything you will need to enjoy a nice meal in the suite. Take-out and delivery is available from many of the local restaurants. Check out my welcome book and website for my favourite recommendations. The dining tables (inside and out) seat six comfortably. I have wooden high chairs available upon request.

Enjoy hanging out on the comfy couch and chairs watching tv or movies, playing games or reading books. It's all there for you! If you want to get comfy, there is a little electric fireplace and extra blankets and pillows.

The back bedroom has a comfy queen-sized bed and a closet to keep your clothes tidy. This room contains a desk and chair for getting work done. The front bedroom faces Victoria Avenue and has two double beds...perfect for kids or friends staying together. This room also has a comfy chair for lounging in and both rooms have a wall mounted fireplace to make things cozy in the colder months. The couch in the living room can be pulled out to create extra sleeping spots.

A washer and dryer in the back bedroom help to make longer stays more comfortable. This is a private apartment and you will have the entire space to yourself. Private access to the upstairs unit is via the patio and there is complimentary private parking in the rear of the building.

We use a coded lock system on both the gates and the doors and guests will automatically be sent the private codes upon .booking.

The bathroom is bright and clean and has a big walk-in shower and a new toilet (with a removable lid) for extra thorough cleaning. I am a hairstylist/esthetician and was formerly a restaurateur, so I know all about proper sanitation!

An Ontario Parks parking pass is included with your stay. It allows access to all of the provincial parks nearby (including Sandbanks). Valid from April 1 - Nov 30 each season. Please return the pass to the suite once you're done using it so that it's there for the next guest! I have picnic coolers, beach chairs and beach blankets available upon request.
Guest access
The entire space is yours to use. The entrance to the stairs leading up to the suite is shared by the downstairs guests, as is the parking lot. Please be respectful of them (say hello!) and comply with social distancing recommendations. You both have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy!

Additional notes
Wind Rose Suites 30 is a Pet Friendly space! We welcome your furry friends as guests but please be considerate of the neighbours and follow all house rules!

Your pets are welcome to stay with you, and are considered as extra guests. An extra security deposit of $250 is required. This deposit will be refunded if our Cleaning, Damage and Missing Items Report comes back clear.
Maximum number of pets is 2. We welcome dogs and cats.

Pet Owner Rules
Guests need to pick up after their pets and dispose of properly
Guests need to keep them on a leash in the neighbourhood and when on the shared access patio

Guests must not leave their pets alone in the suite for long periods of time
Guests must wipe dirty paws with the towels provided
Guest must use protective towels/sheets on the furniture.
Guest interaction
This is a private suite located just next door to The Cat's Meow Salon, my other business. I work 2 seconds away and live just 5 minutes away so am available but will not intrude on your stay! You may even want to book a service in my salon while you visit! Book ahead to get a spot. I'm usually pretty busy as I have been a hairstylist in Belleville for more than 20 years!
Neighborhood overview
You are in the heart of Belleville, but on a quiet section of the street with a church on one side and a hair salon on the other (also run by your host Sharon). Being in the centre of it all puts you close to just about everything you could want to do in the area, including visiting wineries, breweries, galleries and the local waterfront and beaches.
Getting around
Check out the welcome book and my website for more details on the surrounding area (so much good stuff nearby!) but just know that you are in the heart of it all and close to everything! We have free parking, are on a transit route and are within walking distance to the Riverfront trail and Downtown District shops, galleries and restaurants. We are close to the hospital, the industrial park, Zwicks park, the Wellness Centre, the YMCA, the Trenton Air Base and Museum. Prince Edward County is just across the bridge over the beautiful Bay of Quinte and is a hub for all kinds of other awesome things to do!
